This simple, but powerful breathing exercise helps to balance both sides of the brain, calm the nervous system, and help aid clarity of mind and being.

Block the right nostril with a finger. Inhale through the left nostril for 5 seconds. Hold the breath for 5 seconds. Block the left nostril and exhale for 5 seconds through the right nostril.

Continue to block the left nostril and inhale for 5 seconds through right nostril. Hold the breath for 5 seconds. Block the right nostril and exhale through the left nostril.

Continue with this breathing for 1-5 minutes.
